The Port of Basarabi is one of the largest Romanian river ports, located in the city of Murfatlar (formerly Basarabi) on the Danube-Black Sea Canal.

Good Times (newspaper)

Good Times is Santa Cruz County’s free-circulation weekly newspaper founded by Jay Shore and published in Santa Cruz, California since 1975. Good Times is read by more than 100,000 people in the county, a coastal area that includes Capitola, Rio del Mar, Aptos and Watsonville. It is owned by MainStreet Media Group.
Good Times is Santa Cruz counties community newspaper with features by local writers on news, opinion, entertainment, arts and events. Editorial-based and run in downtown Santa Cruz, the alternative weekly is owned by Main Street Media Group, which publishes twelve papers in California and some magazines.^[1] Good Times won an award for General Excellence in the California Newspaper Publishers Association Better Newspaper Contest 2006–2007.^[2] In 2008 it won first place for environmental and agricultural reporting.^[3]
The newspaper commemorated its 35th anniversary in April 2009 with the largest issue ever detailing the Best of Santa Cruz including features on dining, activities, shopping, professionals, nightlife, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and more.

Hastings, Sierra Leone

Hastings is a town located in the Western Area of Sierra Leone and a suburb of Freetown, the nation's capital. It population was estimated at 15,054 (2004 census). Hastings lies just 15 miles to central Freetown. Around 80% of the residents are from the Creole ethnic group.

Sócrates Nolasco

Arístides Sócrates Henríquez Nolasco was a writer from the Dominican Republic. He was born in what is now Enriquillo in Barahona Province on March 20, 1884, and died in Santo Domingo on July 2, 1980.^[1] The parents of Sócrates Nolasco (as he is usually called) were Juliana Nolasco and Manuel Henríquez y Carvajal.^[1] Some of his formative years, from 1906 to 1913, were spent in Cuba, in the city of Santiago de Cuba, and he later returned to that nearby country, to Havana, living there from 1951 to 1954.^[1][2]
Nolasco was a relatively prolific writer, and helped develop a body of work related to the Dominican Republic.^[3] His works have been compiled into three volumes, dealing with his stories^[4], historical essays^[5], and literary essays.^[6]

Funny I got a writer for my first random. Not much to say about this. Wouldn't mind traveling to Cuba sometime though - would be a good experience.
